Jeff Key August 25, 2003 Updated September 9, 2003 I download a bunch of things that don't come with installers (see Reflector). I usually wind up downloading and unzipping these things somewhere that's not entirely consistent and forget where exactly they are. Creating icons in the Start menu is easy enough: Drag and drop a file onto the Start menu while holding down CTRL+SHIFT, then rename it to something other than the file name. Unfortunately, I'm lazy and wanted an easier way, so here it is. Simply drop a file onto the CreateShortcut app or right-click on the file in question and choose "Send To|CreateShortcut". (Launching CreateShortcut without dropping anything on it will give you the opportunity to automatically add it to your SendTo menu.) The util pulls the name, description and company from the file. Not only that, the dialog pops up wherever your mouse is. I told you I was lazy. Changes in v1.1
